Prince Jinmu plans with Chancellor Yon to kidnap Chaehwa and her daughters in order to threaten the King and get revenge for his "father's" death.
The King meets the King of Gaya and intimates him to join with him instead of Korygu. He reasoned that he will help support the people of Gaya but Korygu will just abandon them when they don't need them anymore.
On the day of the full moon, Chaehwa goes to meet the King. Prince Jinmu sends his men to capture her. Kuchon notices that she was gone and follows her and is heartbroken when he sees that she went to see the King. However, she did not meet the King and only look at him from afar. She turns around and goes back to the house. Kuchon follows.
As they get there, the assassins sent by Prince Jinmu raids the place. Kuchon was able to eliminate most of them but there were too many of them to fend off. Chaehwa protects Kuchon and suffers a cut across her eyes. The two widows and their son came to see what the noise was all about and instantly gets killed. The two sisters finally wakes up and goes out of their room to witness the whole thing.
