Li Chang Le tells her mother that Li Wei Young will be sentenced in death in 3 days. She is happy about the news. LCL says that she's sure that Prince Gao Yang will forget about LWY after she dies and asks her mother to stay alive until she marries Prince GY.
Prince Nan An comes back to the palace and sees posters of LWY in the public. The King praises him for his achievements in stopping the war and says that he will grant him a wish for his good deed. He goes back to his residence and realize the scroll is now gone. His bodyguard tells him about the assassins and that Li Chang Ru was at the residence at that time. LCR then comes to visit him and he slaps her out of anger as he realizes that she was the one that stole the scroll. LCR confronts him, saying that she doesn't like LWY because he likes her. She then reveals to him that they met when they were kids and that ever since, she had feelings for him. She said that she cannot let anyone else have him, even if it is her close friend/sister LWY.
When LCR then back to the Li Residence and LCL slaps her for hiding the fact that she knew LWY's true identity. LCR tells her that they are now both in the same boat since she killed Prince GY's mother. LCL asserts her dominance and warns LCR that Prince GY is not the only one who wants to save LWY; Prince Nan An would also want to save her.
Prince GY goes to Prince NA's place to ask him to rescue LWY. Prince NA makes him wait for a long time before seeing him. Prince NA agrees to help LWY, only if Prince GY promises to marry LCL and never tell the truth to LWY. He reluctantly agrees, saying that he'll do anything as long as he saves LWY.
D-day comes and LWY is going to be executed. Prince GY goes to save her but a group of soldiers block his way per the King's command. He pushes forward, and nearly runs them over with the horse. At the same time, Prince NA goes and asks the King to forgive LWY and to draw back his command to kill her. In the crowd, we see Li Min De, who is also ready to step in to stop the execution. Right before the execution date, LMD is knocked out to prevent from interfering.
The time comes, and the executor throws out the plate to start the execution. Just before she is beheaded, and before Prince GY steps in, Prince NA comes with a command from the King to stop the execution. She will instead be stripped of her title and become a maid at the palace.
She goes and join the other maids at the palace. The head of the department is harsh with her words and assigns the clothing for her to do and tells her that she will be punished if she doesn't complete it by the day. There is a hierarchy system in place and she is instantly bullied and given extra clothes.
LMD tells the Princess that she will leave now that he knows that LWY is safe. He begs the Princess and asks her to take care of LWY in his place. The Princess begs him to stay and asks if he really needed to go. He said that he did but promises her that he'll be back one day.
