The news traveled to the King. Prince Jinmu begs the King for forgiveness but the King throws a tray at him and tells him to leave. Just then the Crown Prince comes and is praised by the King. He asks the King to forgive Prince Jinmu as a reward for his accomplishment. Prince Jinmu is outside hearing the whole exchange.
The King meets with the Queen that night. The Queen seems pretty innocent and cries herself to sleep as she misses her father (the current Grand Marshal). They married 3 years ago.
The Crown Prince tries to convince Prince Jinmu to go to the feast since the King will be happy that he is present. He reluctantly agree since the Crown Prince saved him last time.
During the feast to celebrate the Crown Prince's achievement of capturing the spy, the King heavily praises him and tells him to follow the past King's example and not his when he becomes King. Prince Jinmu looks bitter throughout the whole feast.
After the party, Chancellor Yoon consoles Prince Jinmu, saying that he has a chance since the King is trying to deal with the white jade trade (which is where Chaehwa is living now).
Chaehwa has a dream about cuckoo birds kicking out their baby from a nest. Solhi is collecting flowers and tripped and is in danger of falling off a cliff. She calls for help from her sister, Solnan.
