Solnan is captured by the bandits. She then realizes that the Crown Prince tricked her. She witness the bandits playing around with one of the men that was captured, throwing knives at him until they killed him.
Farty and Knucklehead wondered whether they should help her. They feel guilty for leaving her with the bandits. The guards are also worried, but the Crown Prince voices his trust in her abilities and believe she has what it takes to be in the Band.
Tomak, the head of the bandits, choose Solnan to entertain him for the night. She asks the lady that was in the cell with her of any weakness he knows of Tomak. She tells her that he drinks a lot and that he loves his sword more than anything else. He would whip anyone to death if they touched it.
She enters his room and serves him wine after wine. She accidentally bump into a pole and recognize that it connects with a beam that is on top of Tomak. After serving him two bottles, she grabs his sword, admiring it, stating that it must of fallen from the sky. She continues to praise him and makes him cut the pole with his knife. As she thought, the whole hut falls down. The other bandits run to save him as she escapes with the lady and her child. She gives her the rest of her money and tells them to go towards the village.
Solhi is being dressed by her servant and she wonders why the King hasn't called on her once. The Chancellors are having a meeting and wonders why the King hasn't given Solhi a pavilion yet. The Queen invites Solnin for a walk and planned to have the King there as well. However, the King does not show up. Prince Jinmu does show up and greets the Queen, but glares at Solhi as he leaves. Solhi remembers seeing him somewhere but cannot pinpoint exactly where. Prince Jinmu remembers when they encountered each other.
Solhi is sad that the King hasn't called for her since she got here. Just then, the King walks in front of her quarters but then leaves for his study before seeing her.
Back in the woods, the Crown Prince picks at the fire, but the amber is dying out. Just then, Solnan arrives and throws the bag of rice in front of the Crown Prince and tells him to cook it for her since she is starving.
