After the Ceremony, Ying Luo meets with Fu Heng. She acts as if she was worried about him getting into trouble during the Ceremony. He stares intently at her, trying to read her. He figures that she was the one that sabotaged Prince Yi. She admits it, saying that she was fed up with the favoritism he got from the Emperor. Fu Heng also figures out that she was trying to sabotage him as well and asks her if it was because of Amo. Ying Luo admits it. Fu Heng then asks her if she would believe him if he said he had nothing to do with her sister's death. She said no. He then gives her a knife and puts it near his neck, saying that she could stab and kill him if she thinks he's lying even though he knows she has enough guts to do so... and she stabs him and he doesn't flinch a muscle.
Ying Luo then runs to her quarters and holds the pot of her sister's cremation. She is sad since she didn't get to avenge her sister's death and still have no leads as to what happened.
The Empress calls for her and is angry. Ying Luo kneels down and asks for forgiveness. The Empress said that it was very dangerous what she did. Ying Luo assumes that Fu Heng told her that she stabbed him but is surprised when she realizes that the Empress was only referring to the salt incident with Prince Yi. Ying Luo asked her how she found out about it and she said Fu Heng told her. Ming Yu gets mad that the Empress isn't severely punishing Ying Luo. The Empress tells her to be careful and not to let anyone else know of this event. The Empress then mentions that Fu Heng got injured during sparring and asks Ying Luo to take some ginseng soup to him. Ming Yu wanted to go instead, but the Empress tells her that if she sends her, she'll never come back.
Ying Luo takes the ginseng to Fu Heng, who was with Hai Lancha at that time. Hai Lancha then excuses himself, winking at Fu Heng as he left. Ying Luo then asks Fu Heng why he didn't tell the Empress about the stabbing incident. Fu Heng tells her that he is innocent and really had nothing to do with her sister's death. Ying Luo questions why his charm was with her sister and why he never admit that he knew of her sister. He tells her he really doesn't know how the charm ended up with her sister and that the incident with her sister caused a huge commotion in the palace so he knew of it, but he never met her in person so he states that he didn't know. He mentions that he could have easily ousted her out but he didn't. Ying Luo says that she'll believe him at the time being and tries to walk away. Fu Heng stops her, saying that she changed her personality quickly after learning the truth. He said that he was suspicious of her at the beginning, but then he thought she was genuine after seeing her interact with Snowball. He admits that it was his fault for falling into her trap. Ying Luo apologizes but Fu Heng states that he doesn't accept her apology. He wants her to use her actions to show that she is sorry...
... and then proceed to pretend that he's too weak to hold a spoon and asks her to feed him. As she was about to feed him, he grabs her hand and asks whether she was showing her true feelings when they were together. She lets go of his hand just when Hai Lancha comes barging in. Ying Luo excuses herself. Hai Lancha realizes he disrupted a moment between the two and volunteers to feed Fu Heng. He shoos him out.

I'm glad that Fu Heng and Ying Luo were able to hash out their misunderstanding, but I still feel bad him since he's technically the second male lead... I'm looking forward to seeing how their relationship develops and how they end up in their individual positions at the end of the drama (Ying Luo becoming a Consort and all).
I guess this is also the beginning of a new arch with the Fourth Prince. I'm not sure how genuine Consort Xian is in raising him. I feel like there's a high chance that he's going to be used as a hostage... but I do have a sliver of hope that Consort Xian is actually genuine in raising him and he takes her side instead of Lady Jiu's later in this drama

Consort Xian is taking care of the Fourth Prince. The Prince is currently sick and the Imperial Doctor is taking a look at him. He refuses to drink her medicine so Consort Xian asks the doctor whether they could add something to it to make it more tolerable for kids. Lady Jia then barges in, sobbing, saying that she misses her son. She then complains that her son is getting sicker and skinnier since moving in with Consort Xian.
Consort Xian's maid tells her that she is too nice - she is taking care of the Fourth Prince as if it was her own son but Lady Jia comes in every day to visit her son while sobbing. Consort Xian dismisses her comments. She then tries to feed the Fourth Prince herself, saying that if he eats, then she would be able to see Lady Jia and the Emperor more often.
The Fourth Prince then gets a high fever and the Emperor came to visit. Lady Jia blames Consort Xian, saying that the Fourth Prince's health started deteriorating after he was put under her care. Lady Jia admits that she was wrong for what she did during the garden incident but the Fourth Prince is innocent and wants him to move back. Noble Consort Gao states that Consort Xian is known for her kindness and asks how she can stand the mother and son be separated. She then tells the Emperor that she can take care of the Fourth Prince instead.
Lady Chun then brings the Imperial Doctor to check on the Fourth Prince's condition. The Doctor then asks the maid taking care of him what the Fourth Prince's symptoms are. It turns out that his fever started because he had too many blankets. His diet also exacerbated his condition. The Doctor said it was best if he just ate plain congee, but the maid had sneakily fed him greasy food because he refused to eat. The Emperor gets mad at the maid and then she confesses, saying that Lady Jia told her to do that so that she could get her son back. Lady Jia denies this, saying that she would never harm her own son. She said it was Consort Xian that planned this. Lady Chun retorted, saying that only she knew the intricacies of his diet and that Consort Xian wouldn't know this. Lady Jia then begs Noble Consort Gao for help, but she refuses. She then asks the Emperor again to take care of the Fourth Prince. Lady Chun interjects, saying that Consort Xian took care of the Fourth Prince as if he was her own son. The Emperor decides to leave the Fourth Prince under Consort Xian's care.
