LCL goes to visit LCR. She expresses how angry she feels about her feelings not being reciprocated by Prince GY. She goes on to rant about all the things she did and sacrifice for his love. LCR asks her if she gave up. LCL said she didn’t but she is just going to retrieve what she lost. LCL said that she will now go against Prince GY. She then belittles LCR, saying that Prince NA won’t like her just because she keeps sticking on to him. When LCL leaves, LCR wonders whether she was right.
Just then Prince NA comes in. He wonders what LCL was doing here. LCR tells him that she’s not doing anything to harm him since she loves him. Prince NA tells her not to use the term love so loosely – he asks her why she would harm the person he loves if she loves him. He then states that he doesn’t know what real love is, and that he just knows that he always gets what he wants.
A masked General Chiyan then greets Prince NA as ‘master’ since he was the one who saved his life. General Chiyan was the person who lead the assassins to kill the King's advisers. They disagree with each other on about LWY – General Chiyan wants to kill her but Prince NA says he doesn’t have a say in it. General Chiyan tries to convince Prince NA that LWY only has her eyes on Prince GY. They have a stare-off, and General Chiyan eventually gives in. Prince NA asks him whether he was able to find a book which serves as an evidence against him and the former Crown Prince. He said he wasn’t able to find anything and that Prince GY won’t be able to find it either. Before he leaves, Prince NA tells the General to meet up with LCL as she is going to play an important part in their plan.
General Chiyan then meets up with the lady assassins who has the ability to disguise as anyone. She is surprised to see him alive and states that she knew he wasn't dead.
Back at the palace, Li Min De visits LWY to tell her that he is feeling better and told her not to worry about him. Just then, the Princess comes and addresses him by his nickname 'Min De' instead of his full name. LWY catches this and starts teasing LMD about his relationship with the Princess. LMD, embarrassed. goes to the Princess and tells her not to call out for him too loudly. She ignores him and ends up shouting his name just to embarrass him even more.
Both of them go to help LWY investigate about the case with the King's adviser. On the way, they pass by the market and LMD buys a bracelet for the Princess. She's very happy and says that it is the best present she was ever given. Later, they go to the place where the advisers were killed and bump into Prince NA (who was there to find the book and destroy it). As they were searching the place, the Princess trips on the stairs and end up 'accidentally' kissing LMD.
LWY has a suspicion that she found something like a contraption to open up a secret room. However, just as she was about to open it, Prince NA comes in. He pulls on the door knob and secret room opens. They both in and find several books and scrolls, one of which was the book that Prince NA wants to destroy and get rid of. Suddenly, secret traps in the room start to go off and they are both trapped inside. Prince GY came too late, only to see the door closing. Prince GY, LMD, and the Princess is outside scrambling for a way to open the door. Inside, Prince NA is starting to have a panic attack since he is trapped in the dark. At the same time, more traps are starting to go in the room, including flying arrows and closing doors. They both get trapped in slowly closing space.
Outside, Prince GY tries to buy them more time before they are crushed between the two walls by pulling on a chain. However, there are knives poking out of the wall right in front of his face and a boulder about to crush him coming from the ceiling. LMD is there to block off the boulder and the Princess is trying to find a way to stop the traps.
Inside, LWY is facing Prince NA. Prince NA tells her that he loves her but LWY said that she only loves Prince GY. He then adds that he would be happy to die along with her right there.
Outside, the Princess finds two more doorknobs, one of which would probably save them all. She shouts that no matter what happens next, she will marry LMD. She picks one of them and pull. The traps all retract. The door opens and the first thing Prince GY sees is LWY on the floor with Prince NA, attending his injury. Prince GY then orders people to transport all the evidence from inside the room. Just as they bring the books outside, General Chiyan and a group of assassins light them on fire with arrows.
LCL then meets General Chiyan. He tells her about his plan to kill the King and LWY. He also tells her that he's now on Prince NA's side and wants to help him become the King.
Jun Tao and Prince GY's bodyguard go out to find the person who keeps contacting him to give him more information about the death of the Crown Prince. On the way there, he buys JT a pair of earrings, only to find out that she doesn't have any piercings.
The next time they met, JT got her ears pierced and is wearing the earrings. They both go to the woods to meet the person contacting them. They meet him, he gives them a key but he quickly gets assassinated by General Chiyan and his assassins. They fight off most of them until JT's mask flew off. Once General Chiyan figures out that she was still alive, he goes and start fighting her. Prince GY's bodyguard gets a sword pierced through him as he saves JT from a fatal blow.
