Prince Gao Yang (GY) eventually faints after kneeling down through the rain. Despite his health, he switches position with the doctor and goes on a horse to catch up to Li Wei Young (LWY). The news spread to the King and he was furious despite the Crown Princess begging for his forgiveness. The Crown Princess is also holding a grudge on LWY, accusing her of making her son behave this way.
Back at the Li Residence, Li Chang Le (LCL) begs General Chiyun Nan to help Prince GY. He refuses, telling her that it wouldn’t benefit them in any way and to let him go.
Prince Nan An is with LWY. LWY wonders why Prince GY still hasn’t arrive yet. Prince NA then confronts her, saying that if she had agree to marry him earlier, none of this would have happened. Later that day, the escorts drinks with Prince NA. The drinks had been tampered with beforehand, and Prince NA and his body guard faints. Fortunately, he figured out the haux beforehand, and was only acting to be under the influence of the drug they put in the drink. LWY’s drinks were also drugged and the escorts attacked her. Prince NA and his bodyguard is waiting outside, and wanted to see how it plays out before stepping in. Luckily, Prince GY arrives in time and saves LWY without Prince NA having to interfere.
After recovering from the attack, Prince NA pretends to be drugged and is woken up by the others. LWY reunites with Prince GY and asks how he was able to leave the palace. He makes a joke out of it and tells LWY not to worry about him. They exchange smiles and pinch each other’s cheeks. Before leaving, Prince GY commented, “You look pretty.” Prince GY asks Prince NA to escort LWY back without him.
Li Min De sets off after LWY. The Princess hears the news and then becomes sad since she is the only one left alone.
On the way back, LWY was attacked by the enemy. While running away, Prince NA suffers an arrow wound on. In order to hide from the enemy, LWY and Prince NA hides inside a dark room in a house. This excites some kind of childhood trauma from Prince NA as we see flashback of his mother getting taken away from him.
Prince GY goes to the army base to find out that the commander died in action and that they were severely outnumbered (5000 vs 200 000). He amps up the army, saying that that should fight for their families and their country. Despite being outnumbered, he defeated the opposing army by killing their leader. The news soon spread to LWY and she wants to go after him to help. Prince NA tries to hold her back but fails to do so.
